Continuity Partners with DT Institute to Improve Economic Prospects for Young Guatemalans and Hondurans

Falls Church, VA — As part of an effort to invest in communities in need around the globe, Continuity
Global Solutions announces a donation of lead funding for an initiative that will train
young Guatemalans and Hondurans (ages 25-35) to meet existing labor demands in their communities.
This pilot program is a joint effort between DT Institute and Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos
(NPH) to improve economic conditions and encourage entrepreneurship in Central
America.

“It is important that the private sector takes a global leadership role in encouraging inclusive
economic development,” explained Continuity CEO Steve Hartsuff. “Continuity is proud to join
forces with DT Institute to pursue solutions that help pave the way for more young Guatemalans
and Hondurans to pursue economic prosperity.”

NPH, a nonprofit provider of residential, educational, and healthcare services to vulnerable
youth across nine Latin America countries, will tap into its extensive network to identify existing
labor demands so that program participants can receive training to meet existing workforce
needs.

DT Institute’s Prosperity for All Fund directs funding for this and other philanthropic initiatives as
part of their mission to “do development differently.” “We are honored to partner with Continuity
Global Solutions and NPH on this important initiative aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial
ecosystem in Central America,” said Hugh Doyle, Chief Executive Officer of DT Institute.

This announcement follows the launch of USAID’s Guatemala Entrepreneurship and Development
Innovation Initiative, a nearly $39 million effort to address Guatemala’s critical development
challenges announced in July. DT Institute has pledged $750,000 over the next five years
through this public/private partnership.
