Continuity (CGS) has been awarded a Task Order for Construction Security Monitoring Services (CSMS) in Trinidad and Tobago at the construction site for the new U.S. Embassy in Port of Spain. The 11-acre property was acquired in 2023 and construction began in 2025.

According to the U.S. Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago website, the U.S. government is investing more than $400 million in the project. Chargé d’Affaires Neidhart de Ortiz is quoted as saying, “It is not just a physical expansion, but a powerful reflection of the robust and longstanding relationship between the people and government of the United States and Trinidad and Tobago.”

This is the 18th Task Order CGS has won under the CAG/CST IDIQ program, which provides for security monitoring services at overseas construction sites and storage areas in support of the Bureau of Overseas Building Operations under the U.S. Department of State. CGS won a seat on CAG/CST in December 2021 and has now secured Task Orders for projects in Africa, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Latin America.

“With similar recent Task Orders in Algiers, Bogota, and Cape Town, we know what it will take to secure and support the project in Port of Spain,” said CGS Senior Program Manager Roy Hernandez. “Our team is honored by the opportunity and ready for the engagement.”

Continuity (CGS) has won the recompete for the U.S. Department of State’s Local Guard Force (LGF) contract in Panama City, Panama. CGS is currently supporting multiple projects across Central and South America and has served the Mission in Panama since 2013.

This is one of over 30 LGF contracts awarded to CGS by the Department of State since 2010. The team’s extensive security experience and deep relationships around the globe are key to securing and serving critical U.S. Missions worldwide.

Continuity (CGS) has won a Task Order for Construction Security Monitoring Services in support of the Cape Town Photovoltaic Project in Cape Town, South Africa. This Task Order is the 17th awarded to CGS under the CAG/CST IDIQ program, which provides for security monitoring services at overseas construction sites and storage areas in support of the Bureau of Overseas Building Operations under the
U.S. Department of State.

CGS won a seat on this CAG/CST IDIQ contract in December 2021 and has now secured associated Task Orders for projects in Africa, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and La7n America. Outside of this contract, Continuity has served on over 30 Missions across six continents for the Department of State and other U.S. governmental and defense entities.

“Construction sites present a unique set of challenges. Effective monitoring isn’t just about protecting assets; it’s about safeguarding workers and ensuring that projects stay on track without costly interruptions,” explained Roy Hernandez, Senior Program Manager at CGS.
