CGS Secures Recompete of Local Guard Force (LGF) Contract with the U.S. Department of State for the Mission in New Zealand

Continuity Global Solutions LLC (CGS) has won the recompete of the Local Guard Force (LGF) contract with the U.S. Department of State (State) for the Mission in New Zealand, which includes the U.S. Embassy in Wellington and U.S. Consulate in Auckland. State previously hired CGS for this requirement in 2020, which was performed with its joint venture partner, October Protection Christchurch Limited (OPCL). This marks the 39th security contract award made by State to CGS under the LGF program since 2010.

New Zealand is one of the U.S.’s most steadfast allies, a fellow Five Eyes partner whose shared commitment to democracy, rule of law, and regional stability makes the U.S.-New Zealand relationship a cornerstone of Indo-Pacific security. “Serving the Department of State is both an honor and a calling. We are proud to bring our security expertise to this mission and remain steadfast in our commitment to excellence in everything we do,” said CGS Senior Vice President of Operations, Alfred Leggett.

“Winning this recompete is a testament to the professionalism and dedication of our people that help secure this Mission for State,” CGS CEO Steve Hartsuff said. “We’re proud to continue delivering value for them.”
