Continuity – CGS has won the recompete for the Local Guard Force (LGF) contract with the U.S. Depart-ment of State for the U.S. Embassy in Kampala, Uganda, a Mission CGS has served continuously since 2013. This marks the third consecutive LGF award for CGS in Uganda and is the 38th LGF contract awarded to the firm since 2010.
CGS brings deep, proven security expertise across Africa, with a track record that now includes 13 LGF contracts on the continent. This latest award is one of four active LGF projects there, with other Mis-sions in Angola, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. These contracts underscore the firm’s sustained presence and trusted capabilities in some of the region’s most challenging environments.
“This contract renewal speaks to our ability to deliver dedicated, high-caliber services that address the realities of today’s security challenges.
