Continuity (CGS) has won the recompete for the U.S. Department of State’s Local Guard Force (LGF) contract in Helsinki, Finland. CGS is supporting this mission with its joint-venture partner, Avarn Security.
This is one of over 30 LGF contracts awarded to CGS by the Department of State since 2010. The team’s extensive security experience and deep relationships around the globe are key to securing and serving critical U.S. Missions worldwide.
Finland has been a member of the European Union (EU) since 1995. It became NATO’s 31st member in 2023 after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and is an important U.S. ally.
